👇ABOUT YOU
You're an experienced planning professional with a background in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or Integrated Business Planning. You have a proven track record of managing demand forecasts, improving forecast accuracy, and contributing to a successful S&OP process within a product, service, or supply chain environment.
You'll be highly analytical and confident working with large datasets, using advanced Excel skills to build models, identify trends, perform scenario analysis, and present clear, actionable insights. Experience with tools such as Power Query, ERP systems, forecasting platforms, or data automation would be advantageous.
We're looking for someone who can balance attention to detail with commercial awareness, challenge assumptions constructively, and translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations. You'll be comfortable engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, working across functions, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Most importantly, you'll enjoy building capability, improving processes, and taking ownership of initiatives that help the business make smarter planning decisions.
📊THE ROLE
As our S&OP Planning Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping how we forecast, plan, and respond to future demand across the business. You'll lead the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, creating a single, trusted view of future demand by bringing together historical trends, commercial forecasts, customer activity, pipeline opportunities, product changes, and wider business insights.
Working closely with teams across Commercial, Finance, Supply Planning, Procurement, and SmartTec, you'll translate demand forecasts into clear actions and recommendations that support effective supply planning, inventory management, purchasing decisions, and working capital performance.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with data, analysing trends, challenging assumptions, and turning complex information into meaningful business insights. You'll develop and enhance planning models, monitor forecast accuracy, deliver KPI reporting, and provide scenario analysis to support decision-making.
You'll also take ownership of the monthly S&OP cycle, coordinating demand review meetings, consolidating assumptions, preparing executive reporting packs, and ensuring key actions and decisions are effectively communicated and delivered across the business.
