The Recruitment Process
-
The Selection Process And Initial Screening
Once you send your application, our recruitment team will screen your CV and cover letter.
They will check that you have the relevant experience for the role, the right to work in the UK, and that you are located in the required area.
If you have any gaps in your CV or we have any queries about your visa, the recruitment team may contact you to clarify your situation.
The job advert will clearly state the required experience.
-
The TestGorilla Assessment
After the initial screening, you may be invited to the next stage, which includes some online assessments via TestGorilla.
These assessments will be tailored to the role and will help us assess the required skills in an unbiased way.
These assessments help us understand whether a candidate has the basic IT skills, critical thinking, and ability to follow procedures accurately.
The recruitment team and the hiring manager will then review the results and decide whether to progress a candidate to the next stage.
-
The Psychometric Assessment
Following TestGorilla, the recruitment team may give you a call to learn more about you and ask you whether you have any questions/concerns about the role you applied for.
You may also be asked to complete a psychometric Thomas Assessment, which helps us understand your natural working style, communication preferences, strengths, and key characteristics. There are no right or wrong answers. We simply want to learn more about what makes you, you! 😊
It also helps us understand how your strengths and attributes align with the requirements of the role, ensuring the best possible match between you and the opportunity.
-
The Interview
After completing Thomas Assessments, you may well be invited to an interview.
This interview will mainly consist of a role-play scenario, similar to what you would encounter if you were successful in the role. You will receive documents attached to your interview invite and be asked to follow the instructions to navigate the role-play during your interview.
You will also be asked about your knowledge of Appello and what we do, and some competency-based questions, so do your research 😉
You will need to use a laptop or computer with a working camera for this interview.
